We are back!!! The wedding was INCREDIBLE!!! We seriously had the BEST DAY EVER:) Other than the fact that Andy had food poisoning that morning...But he was a trooper and made it through with a smile haha. I can't wait to share some of our photos and our wedding video (I LOVE this video). Everything was perfect. So many people put time and effort into this big day. And I couldn't be more grateful. So Andy and I had talked a little about where we should go on the honeymoon and we had come to the conclusion to do something a little smaller now and go on a bigger trip in the summer. I was a big fan of the idea, so we decided on Sun Valley, Idaho. Haha I know what you are thinking right now. IDAHO???? For a honeymoon??? And that was my first thought as well. But once we did some reasearch on the place, it looked like a blast! Snowmobiling, skiing, snowshoeing, etc. Totally something Andy and I would enjoy:) We only had the weekend because of busy season with Andy's work. But it was the perfect amount of time. It's got a park city feel to it, and we love that. But little did I know....Andy had other plans. The morning after our wedding Andy said we had to be to the airport by 11. I was stoked not have to drive to Sun Valley, but was surprised at the same time. Once we got inside the airport and got our tickets I saw where we were really going!!!!!! CATALINA ISLAND!!!!! I was soooo excited!!! I had been there once for only half a day, and was so excited to go back and see everything there. Catalina is a small island in California. It has a tropical, beachy vibe and most of the transportation is with golf carts and bikes (how cool is that:) Here are a few pictures from our rockin honeymoon!!! We did just about everything you could do there.
While we were there the island was having an ocean clean up. TONS of scuba divers from all over California and Oregon came to help with it. It was fun watching them all get ready and take off into the ocean. I had no idea how much equipment you need when scuba diving. It is definitely something I have to do soon!
This is one of the killer hikes we went on while we were there. We hiked around 7 miles to get to this spot. You could see the clouds covering the tops of the mountains and could walk right through them. This hike was up and around the botanical gardens in Catalina. The hike was called 'Island in the sky'.
The structure below was in the botanical gardens. It is at the southern most end of Avalon canyon and was built as a tribute for William Wrigley Jr. This was probably one of my favorite places we went. This place had the coolest plants, and this building was incredible.
The little cars below were what the locals drive around the island. The island is FULL of golf carts and bicycles. Andy and I rented both and cruised around the entire island with them. We had heard that in order to own a car you had to have lived on the island for at least 5 years.
WE HAD A BLAST HERE!!! It was such a fun honeymoon:) But we are glad to be back and having a a fun getting back into the swing of things:) I have lots of fun new shoots and projects coming your way! So excited to share.

Nice! Rich asked me, "are they REALLY going to Idaho or is that just what they're telling people?" that's awesome that he pulled off the surprise :)
So fun! I'm glad you went there because we went on the 3-day cruise to Catalina and Ensanada and everyone was saying it was so boring. I loved it though. Did you repack clothes so you had good clothes for California instead of warm clothes for Idaho? haha
Haha Andy packed all my stuff for me! My friends and sister helped him out a bit too:) I went on that cruise too! I LOVED it. I thought 3 days there was the perfect amount of time.
