PROMO SHOOT FOR THE BAND RELENTLESS

I have really been lame on posting some sweet photo shoots the past few weeks!  So many fun ones to share.  I have been LOVING all my seniors, brides and families and can't wait to show you some of my most favorite shoots yet. I have some new wedding invite designs to share that I think you will LOVE. For now I am posting about a promo shoot that I did with the killer band RELENTLESS. They are a new country band located in Salt Lake city, and they know how to jam.  Dusti Jones (the hot chicka in the band) asked me to do some promo photos for them a few weeks ago and I couldn't  resist:)  Dusti and I have been friends since jr. high, and I loved getting to catch up with her a bit.  She has an INCREDIBLE voice and know how to play a mean guitar.  One neat thing about this band is Dusti's brother Austin is the lead singer.  He is AMAZING and is quite the performer.  Jeremy is the other guitarist and back up singer for the band.  I got to meet him for the first time at the shoot and he was hilarious.  You should all go check out their facebook page HERE.  They have posted a few videos of them performing live:)  Hope you enjoy the photos!

MARISA H. // SENIOR PICTURES

Isn't Marisa the cutest girl you have ever seen?! I still can't get over how much fun this session was.  I just LOVE senior sessions, especially when the senior is as cute, excited, and friendly as Marisa. She had the cutest outfits, I was dying!  Marisa is a senior at the BEST high school ever, Murray High.  She is an SBO and has made the best out of her high school experience.  When we were talking about her future plans, she mentioned how nervous she was about college and leaving high school. I think most of us were in that same boat:)  But I know for a fact this girl is going to have an amazing college experience.  Congrats on graduating Marisa! Live it up these last few weeks:) One thing I know for sure...you will absolutely love college life:)

LABOUNTY'S // MATURNITY PICTURES

I have never done maturity pictures until this shoot! It's always exciting for me to get to try something new:)  Mindy is an old friend of mine that I played softball with since we were little.  Her dad was my coach for years and is one of my most favorite people. I have had the chance to shoot Mindy's sister Mallory's wedding, and just recently her sister Marisa's senior pictures (So excited to share those!).  Mindy had asked if I would take some maturity pictures for her since this is her first baby, and she hasn't done any pictures until now of their little family. Her and her husband Ryan were a blast to work with.  I know they are going to be great parents:)  It is so much fun seeing all my friends lives changing.  The past few years have been filled with so many wedding announcements and babies haha!   And I can't help but smile at such great, and exciting news.  I hope you all enjoy this little maturity session.

JAKE+MAREN//BRIDALS

Isn't this the best looking couple you have ever seen??!! I couldn't stop taking pictures during this shoot! This is Maren and Jake. I met Maren through Kim Shelby at a photo-shoot I did for them last summer.  It was one of my all time favorite shoots. If you haven't checked it out yet you gotta see how it went HERE. Maren emailed me a few months back and asked if I could do her wedding in March. I was thrilled to have the opportunity.  Maren is STUNNING. Oh and one other thing, she knows how to work it in front of the camera. She is so much fun to photograph.  I got to meet Jake on the day of their reception while Maren was getting ready ( more pictures of her getting ready and the wedding coming soon!) He was such a stud.  I love getting to hear about how a couple meets, how the first date went, and all those stories that take you back to when you first started dating that special someone.  Both were so relaxed and calm about their big day.  Maren's theme was simple, classy, and romantic.  It was perfect for them.  I couldn't have done it any better.  Her dress, the gorgeous bouquet made with purple lilacs, his classy black suit with a bow-tie, were all amazing.  It's weddings like this one that make photographers love their job:)  This session was done right before their reception at Red Butte Gardens. I was nervous about the lighting because the sun was bright as ever and I thought the shadows would be a nightmare.  I decided to try a few different things and used the sun to my advantage.  I loved the way they turned out.  I will definitely be doing this more often:)  Big congrats to Maren and Jake.  You guys are an amazing couple, you will love married life:)
