I don't know if you have ever checked out the downtown chalk festival in Salt Lake, but it is seriously so flippin sweet! I was blown away with all the talent that these artist have. The colors, shapes, sizes and overall appearances of each picture was incredible. Watching these artists was so interesting to hear and see how they go about completing such amazing pieces and their process through it. The festival was at the Gateway in Down town Salt lake. It was right through the middle of the mall and there were tons of people checkin out the artwork and participating in the events. These types of events are some of my most favorite to go to.
This was one of my most favorite pieces of the whole show. Not just because it was Harry Potter haha but because the detail, colors and figures were so exact! This lady was incredible!!!
Andy and I LOVED it! We wanted to go back the next day to look at all the finished pieces but it rained!!!! What a BUMMER! Ha luckily we got to see most of them the day before.
Andy sometimes struggles with keepin his eyes open when he gets photographed haha. But it secretly think it adorable. What a hunk:)
My second favorite piece in the show. What a great idea.
If you didn't get the chance to check the chalk fest out this year make sure you do next year!!!! You won't be disappointed!

Oooh! We went to that too! I LOVE those events as well... so inspiring & creative... just makes me want to do art all day. :) I love all those pictures you posted -- especially the three in the middle (after Harry Potter)... I love the wrinkly outfits and accuracy of the faces [and the back view of the cute boy & girl sitting next to each other])! LOVE IT!
And you two are so cute!!! Nick shuts his eyes during some pictures too, haha... maybe it's just a guy thing ;)
