This was the coolest festival EVER!!!! My little brother and I went to the Krishna's lotus temple this past weekend for their colors festival. When you go you get to dance around with random strangers, listen to singers sing the same chant over and over and over again(HARE KRISHNA, HARE KRISHNA!), and best of all....you get to throw colored chalk at anyone and anything! Everyone is covered by the time they leave the festival, and it is sooooo hilarious to see all the chalk that coats peoples teeth when they smile. They had a countdown for everyone to throw up all their chalk at the same time to celebrate the begining of spring. A huge colorful cloud rises up and floats away. There were times when i could barely breath! Chalk is still coming out of my nose and ears haha. But it was a blast getting to go to this awesome festival and hangout with the little bro and friends. YAY for the Colors Festival! Hare Krishna!
